I’m seeing more and more of these Caterpillar machines with adblue issues, often going in to derate, flagging fault codes and putting on lights and buzzers.

Caterpillar Deletes and tuning are not always straightforward in the sense of what can and can’t be done across the range of engine variations, and finding someone willing and capable of carrying out the work is not easy

For example some machines you can delete individual systems like AdBlue, EGR  or DPF and others you need to delete all emissions related systems together.

If you have CAT ET, a CAT interface, mobile internet connection and Team Viewer this service can be carried out remotely, providing you can provide any required information. Alternatively it can be done on site.

With all CAT machinery I usually assess on site, and offer the available options for each machine on the Day to avoid disappointment.

Emissions Fault Shutdown message are common on Caterpillar machinery.

Caterpillar Excavators, Dump Trucks, Bulldozers and any other machine with a CAT engine are covered.

Caterpillar Remapping Tuning

As with most machinery with an ECU these days Cat machinery can be tuned to increase power and improve economy.

All Caterpillar tuning is carried out using Caterpillar ET software and CAT files.

This service can also be carried out remotely if you have CAT ET, A CAT adapter and team viewer remote connection.

Caterpillar engines supplied across the range often have the same ancillaries and other components but are offered in a range of horsepower options, leaving plenty of scope to increase within the manufacturers limits. Additionally here in the UK the engines have a relatively easy time, not having to work particularly hard to achieve their standard power, due to our climate and altitude being very middle of the road.
