JCB Fastrac Transmission Emulator
JCB Fastrac’s with the Fendt Vario transmission are limited on power to the wheels by transmission software. The Fastrac CVT will only ever allow factory engine power to be used even if you have the engine remapped, the limit will remain. Agri Remaps can supply Fastrac Transmission Emulators that remove this limit and allow full engine power to be used when required.
Remapping your Fastrac and adding the Vario emulators will transform it. Remapping the Sisu engine not only increases the power to the level they should be from the factory but also improves power delivery throughout the range and improves economy, adding the emulator to this then dramatically improves drivability. All machinery loses speed up hill especially with a heavy load, unfortunately the CVT transmission suffer more than their geared counterparts, the Fastrac even more so than others. The Transmission emulators remove the factory power cap letting all the engines available horsepower and torque to be used upon demand.
Agricultural Machinery Export
If you are exporting Agricultural machinery to any country where there are no emissions laws, you will need to delete all emissions systems from the machine before it leaves the UK. The diesel available in these parts of the world is lower quality in comparison to the fuel available across the UK, although the machines are capable of running on the lower quality fuel the emissions systems can’t cope with it. DPFs will block quickly requiring repeat regens until they become overwhelmed, EGR’s will circulate heavily sooted exhaust gas blocking inlets and increasing carbon deposits throughout, causing many issues including Variable geometry turbo problems, AdBlue systems will struggle to keep up with the reduction of NOx gasses assuming that AdBlue is available at the destination of the machine, often resulting in failures where parts are not available.
Vario Transmission Emulators
Anybody that has a Fendt, Massey Ferguson, JCB or Valtra with a Vario transmission knows that they are great and only really let down when you go up hill with a load on. Annoyingly this is related to the tractors software rather than the Vario transmission its self. Fendt, Massey Ferguson, JCB and Valtra all have limits set in the software controlling the fuel usage and limiting the power the engine can provide to the Vario. The good news is AGR can provide Emulators for all Fendt Vario Transmissions that remove the limit and Vastly reduce the drop off with heavy loads. The emulators remove the limit and allow the engines full power to the wheels regardless of the fuel required.
